PHYSICAL THERAPY
Pediatric Physical Therapy at CTSC
During childhood, movement and physical development form the foundation of how children explore, learn, and participate in their world. From crawling and walking to jumping, balancing, and playing sports, physical activity is a child’s work. At CTSC, our Pediatric Physical Therapists assess and treat the physical challenges that may interfere with a child’s ability to move confidently and independently throughout their day. We use a whole-child approach that considers the child’s unique needs and works closely with families to help children reach their full physical potential.
MOVEMENT-BASED THERAPY MODEL
Movement is a key occupation of childhood and is central to learning, play, and daily function. We use engaging, play-centered activities to target developmental milestones and build strength, coordination, and mobility in a fun and motivating way.
EVIDENCE-BASED TREATMENT APPROACH
Our therapists use treatment models that are considered Evidence-Based Best Practices. Every child’s therapy plan is personalized and backed by the latest research in pediatric physical therapy.
POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT
We believe in motivating children through encouragement and celebrating small wins. Our therapists use positive reinforcement to make therapy fun, rewarding, and goal-driven—helping kids stay engaged and excited about their progress.
TELEHEALTH/IN-PERSON SESSIONS
We recognize that sometimes families can’t make it to our Northglenn, CO clinic. That’s why we offer flexible Telehealth Physical Therapy sessions, which are endorsed as effective by the American Medical Association and help maintain consistency in care when in-person visits aren’t possible.
